• In February 2026, Valor made the decision to discontinue the all of their specific gas valves, and have replaced them with a stock valve that will work with all Valor Non-IPI gas fireplaces that run on a GV34 Maxitrol Gas Valve.

• Please find the replacement stock valve here.  This will bring you to the page to purchase the stock valve.

• A license gas fitter will be required for the install as the valve may need to be adjusted to the proper pressure depending on your fireplace. Certain set screws may need to be reused from the old valve.

This is an OEM Valor Propane Gas Valve that is found in select Valor gas fireplace (see applicable models below). This is a genuine Valor replacement part that will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Part Description: This is a genuine Valor propane (LP) gas valve that is found in the select gas fireplace. In the manual, this part may be referred to as a valve assembly. A gas valve controls your gas flow, allows your fireplace to ignite or extinguish safely, and may even be responsible for some of your fireplace’s features like remote operation.

It is possible that this gas valve works with other Valor models as well. Please reference your user manual to ensure the part number matches.
