This is the official OEM Pacific Energy Baffle Kit for select Pacific Energy wood stoves and inserts (see applicable models below).  This Pacific Energy Kit Includes the Baffle, Side Rail Insulation, Baffle Pin, as well as the Baffle gasket. This Pacific Energy part ships new in original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Applicable Pacific Energy Models

• Pacific Energy Mid Sized Freestanding Wood Stoves with serial numbers greater than 70,001, including: Fusion, Super 27, Spectrum, Classic, & Alderlea T5.
• Pacific Energy Mid Sized Wood Inserts with serial numbers greater then 25,501 (approximately 1990 to today), including Super 27, & Alderlea T5.

Baffle Dimensions : 15 3/4″ x 12″ x 2″

Purpose

The baffle and the gaskets that come with it are designed to keep the hot gas in the fire and it also adds air into the fire to ensure a clean, hot burn.  If the baffle is cracked or distorted make sure you replace it.  If you don’t you may run the risk of warping or cracking the stove.

Installation Tips

You will need to raise one side of the baffle up above the side rails and place it down on top of the air tube at the back.  Remember to put the baffle gasket on before putting in the baffle and try not to tear the baffle gasket when you lower the baffle on top of it.  The side pieces of insulation need to go in before the baffle is put on top.

Other Notes 

Make sure you put in the baffle pin once everything is in place.  If the pin does not go in, there maybe something not lined up correctly.  There are extra shipping charges for this product.

Pacific Energy mid sized wood stove (Super 27, Spectrum, Spectrum Classic, Alderlea T5) and the mid sized Pacific Energy Super Series Wood Inserts all use this same baffle.  This baffle is for Pacific Energy stoves with serial number greater than 84,146 and Wood Inserts serial number greater than 25,501 – approximately 1995.
