The 8798RSS-Z7/4FTGN StretchStop 4′ lanyard with SofStop shock absorber is a two-legged tie-back line designed to stay out of the user’s way in tight situations. The quality 1-3/8″ wide, six cord bonded, three-strand polyester thread is abrasion and chemical-resistant, and the connectors pass ASTM 50-hour salt spray tests with flying colors, ensuring a long-lasting product. Two steel locking rebar hooks with 2-1/2″ gates on each leg connect to anchor points, while the 3/4″ steel locking snap hook clips securely onto a range of harnesses and belts. The system is designed to carry 310 lbs and provides a cushioned landing that handles up to 900 lbs of arrest force to mitigate secondary fall injuries. This is done with Miller’s ingenious SofStop shock absorber.
