HHT SLP Direct Vent Components – 4/7″ (SLP6/SLP12/SLP45)

Description

HHT SLP Direct Vent pipe is a coaxial (pipe-within-a-pipe) venting system specifically designed for direct-vent gas fireplaces and stoves manufactured by Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) brands (see more below). This double-wall system simultaneously draws in fresh outside air for combustion through the outer layer and exhausts flue gases through the inner tube.

• Dimensions: 4-inch inner diameter, 6 5/8-inch outer diameter. Commonly referred to as 4/7″ direct vent.

 Lengths

The SLP Series offers a selection of length options, ranging from 6 inches to 4 feet. This flexibility in sizing allows for customization to meet specific installation requirements. The SLP venting contains a 4 ” inner pipe and an 6 5/8″ outside pipe (commonly referred to as 4/7″). These are galvanized lengths – not black.

Elbows

The SLP Series Elbows (often referred to as ‘Offsets’) are used in installations primarily to navigate around structural obstructions like rafters, joists, or ridge poles, allowing the vent pipe to offset and continue vertically. Please note – these are sold individually, but often times you require (2). These are galvanized elbows- not black. 

• SLP45: 45° Elbow (Sold Individually)
• SLP90: 90° Elbow (Sold Individually)

Firestops / Shields

Firestops in gas installations are passive fire protection systems designed to seal gaps where pipes, conduits, and venting pass through fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings. Their primary purpose is to maintain the integrity of these rated assemblies by preventing the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases from one room or floor to another

• SLP-FS: Ceiling Firestop Spacer
• UNIV-AS2: Attic Shield (requires SLP-FS Firestop as well)
• SLP-WS: Wall Shield / Wall Firestop Spacer
