Harman Cast Pawl Retrofit Kit Door Handle Assembly: 1-00-453001

Description

The Cast Pawl Door Handle is the assembly commonly found on all Harman P Series Stoves made roughly around 2013 and after and was sold as a retrofit kit for older style pellet, coal, and wood-burning units. When installed as a retrofit, this assembly solved the common problem of the handle becoming loose because the pawl set screw would flatten or “strip” the threads of the pass-through bolt.

The retrofit kit is not compatible with Invincible Series

Replacement handle kit for older style, stoves, requires no modification to the existing door (which uses part 1-00-08704

.It is advised that whenever you are replacing a door latch, a new door gasket should also be installed to ensure the striker is set to the correct depth. Door gasket part for all models, 1-00-00888-20
